Our Platinum Level Running Training Service is the most intensive
coaching available. It includes:

One hour initial consultation to discuss your exercise history, your
athletic strengths and weaknesses, and your fitness or racing goals
(in-person or by telephone)

as effectively and efficiently as possible

16 Week Boston Marathon Training Plan
Whether you are a marathon veteran looking to set a
personal best at Boston this April or a beginner looking to finish
the 26.2 mile holy grail of running with a smile on your face, this
marathon training program can help you achieve your goal. You will
be coached by Chris Benestad, a USA Track and Field Level II Coach
with more than eleven years coaching experience and a marathon
personal best of 2:43 at Boston in 2006.
The 16 week marathon plan also can be customized for the marathon of
your choice.
How Does It Work?
- This sixteen week training program begins with an in-person
initial consultation with your coach, Chris Benestad, to discuss
your exercise history, your athletic strengths and weaknesses, and
your marathon goals. Using information gathered during the initial
consultation, Chris will provide you with individualized four-week
training segments with detailed daily workout specifications. Plus
he will stay in touch with you each week by email.
- In addition to having an expert coach you during your marathon
preparations, you will have the opportunity to participate in two
group long runs on the Boston Marathon course. It’s a great way to
sharpen those endurance skills while socializing with others who are
training for a spring marathon.
- In the days leading up to your 26.2 mile quest, Chris will
discuss final race preparations and strategies with you during a
pre-race telephone call. During a post-race telephone conversation,
you will have the opportunity to review the highlights of your
marathon with your coach.
Program Details
- Program runs from December 31, 2007 to April 20, 2008.
- Program fee is $450.
- Initial consultation with Coach Chris Benestad is free, with no
obligation.

Become a Runner Program
Do you want to use running as a way to lose weight, get more fit, and
reduce stress? Have you started a running program in the past only to
quit because of injury, boredom, or lack of motivation? Then the
Become a Runner Program is for you!
This four week program begins with an in-person consultation with your
personal running coach to review your exercise history and fitness
goals, discuss strategies for incorporating running into your busy
lifestyle, and analyze your running gait and form.
Using information gathered during the in-person consultation, your
running coach provides you with individualized workouts that take the
guesswork out of starting a running program. Throughout the program,
your running coach provides you with ongoing guidance and motivation to
help you stay on track.
Program Details
- Program runs for four weeks.
- Program fee is $99.
- This is an introductory offer that is only available to new running
clients of Vescio MPS.
